The hills are alive...

Good Morning all, it's July 5th and with the recent rain showers, the South Downs wild flower meadows have started to really come to life and this shot of a cricket chatting to a butterfly says it all for me.

Already folk are asking me to take them up on the hills to see the flowers, butterflies and insects, not to mention the birds and bees! I found a hive of wild bees and honeycomb yesterday in and elder bush up on a cliff edge.
